I was formally introduced to photography by my stepfather, photojournalist and watercolor artist, Harvey Roberts. He gave me my first camera.

A Canon EOS 650. That is still my favorite camera today. Since then I have been photographying any and everything. And with each additional camera my passion becomes greater. With the encouragement of my family and friends I will continue to pursue my passion for this art form.

I have had the good fortune to have been blessed with two of the essential things that makes photography such a great passion.
First the beautiful island I live on, Harbour Island. It's a photographer's dream. And secondly, family and friends who give you cameras as gifts(smile).

I was transfixed by photos at an early age, and my mother fed this fixation by collecting every family photo she could get her hands on.
